Our ultimate adventure traveler details how she took off in an ultralight after a delay. Read the story at AA.com/Women.
Give me the time I'm supposed to show up to do whatever it is I'm doing, and my adrenaline carries me through. I've waited the time I expected to wait between, “Yeah, I'm up for it” and “Saddle up, we're ready to ride.” Delays (no matter how long) open the door for me to question my sanity, especially when it comes to things like seatbelting myself into an ultralight (think dune buggy with wings) or being strapped to a hang glider for a tow up to — and sail down from — 4,400 feet.
